Preserving the History of African American Railroad Workers...
Hello and welcome to the African American Illinois Central Workers of the Historic Fulton Kentucky Railroad Station Project.
This project is a collection of research and presentation preservation endeavors, inspired by Dr. Linda Bradford’s father, Gus Holderness’ 1940s' work as a dining car waiter with the Illinois Central Railroad in Fulton Kentucky.
To date, the most significant part of the project is the Kentucky Oral History Society undertaking.
Friend and family comments and suggestions are welcome and invited. If, perchance, you are interested in working on same or similar projects, please give a call.
