Mr. Guy Williams, 86, of Fulton Kentucky, and formerly of South Fulton, TN died March 26, 2009 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army-Air Force and served in World War II. He had worked for Ferry Morse Seed Company, Waymatic, and was a cook for the Illinois Central Railroad and the Shangra-la Restaurant.
He is survived by 2 sons Charles Williams and Clyde (Margie) Williams both of Fulton, KY; 3 daughters, Guylavelle Williams of Fulton, KY, Janice (Edward) Osborne of San Diego, CA and Linda (Millard) Williams of Fulton, KY; 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Adell Norman Randolph of Chicago, IL, Mary (Charles) Dickerson of Fulton, KY, Freda Randolph Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Hattie Mae James Moss and LaDonne James Allen of Racine, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his wife Della (Horton) Williams, his parents Frank James and Fern Watford Williams, a daughter Julie Williams; and 5 brothers, R.C. Williams, J.D. Williams, Melvin Jones, Jessie Jones, Jessie James and Frank James, Jr., and one sister, Ora Lee Higgs.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Leroy Brent officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlea Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
